On a serious note, I believe everyone should show their support for what the FO has done. Peter Holt and company have gone all out. Some would say it was for Duncan, but really it was for us fans. Now as spurs fans we should rejoice and reward. Everyone needs to give back by going to as many games as possible and spending as much money as you can on Spurs Merchandise.

This is getting perfect. McDyess is a perfect piece to the puzzle. He is a crafty veteran who can help Timmy spread the floor with his mid range jumper. He does not pose an ego problem to the team (Sheed's at ude would not have been good for us) Also, I like the fact we get a hungry veteran (for a ring) who can help Timmy bring along two young, high energy bigs (Blair and Mahmni). Add that along with our great guards (Manu, Parker, Jefferson, and Hill who I think will have a break out year), we are in damn good shape for the year.

Antonio McDyess has agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs, according to HoopsWorld. It’s likely to be a three-year deal, which is pretty hefty for Dice’s condition, but good for him because I’m sure he was looking for someone who would sign him for at least two years. Guess this is Dice’s final push for a ring.

This could also open the door to signing the Mavs’ forward Brandon Bass.

It’s a shame we had to lose another veteran to another team that I absolutely hate. At this point, however, I really don’t blame him for leaving.
