i usually go for Old Rasputin, most of my local bars carry, made by north coast. i've never been disappointed with their stuff.
i dont foresee any wyoming trips but i'll try to keep that in mind
I gotta admit I'm not too adventurous after being burned so many times on pilsners and other lagers. Urquell is the only one I can get that I know I'm going to really like.

Good . Old Rasputin is definitely another of my favorite stouts. Need a fork and a knife to drink that mother er tbh
I've got a bomber of The Abyss in my 'fridge, which is my favorite hard-to-find seasonal.
Left Hand's Milk Stout Nitro (on draft) is my go-to stout, though. Incredible.
I went to a 512 employee's wedding on Saturday and got to have several pints of the Violet Beauregarde - cask Pecan Porter aged with blueberries, cacao nibs, and vanilla. The blueberries were faint, but the beer was delicious.
Holy god, lee. That sounds incredible.
Just scooped this up, supposed to be better than Bomb!

Anybody ever play Edward Fortyhands?
Pretty excited.
Epic and Jolly Pumpkin now distribute in TX
Had a Brother Thelonius last night...4/5
How is Epic and what do they make that's interesting? I found Kiwi beers to not really compare favorably to our microbrews, though I couldn't find Epic anywhere on the south island.
I've had the NZ Epic IPA's they were good - bought at Stein's Deli in New Orleans, but I was referring to Epic out of Utah:

All the Exponential Series are pretty good tbh, but the Imperial IPA and the Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout are my faves. Not a huge coffee fan but that beer is badass.
Cave Creek Chili beer with a chili pepper in it.
I'm really liking Local 1 from Brooklyn Brewery lately. I also liked Brother Thelonius
Sierra Nevada Blindfold Black IPA is delicious. If a roasted porter and a standard IPA were to have a kid, this would be offspring.
Karbach's El Hopadillo Negro is pretty good too, they are out of Houston.
I ran across this while out with a family member in East Texas.
I found a little gem while running around locally too:
I was pleasantly surprised by it's flavor. It seemed to linger on my palette longer than most.
Love this.
Excellent. Wish it wasn't seasonal.
