Both teams have already qualified for the QFs and will almost certainly finish 1-2 in their group. Do you really expect either team to exert anything close to maximum effort? I don't think we'll know much more about the relative strengths of the two teams after this game. I would think both coaches will keep things simple and give the reserves plenty of playing time.

It depends on match up. I assure you both teams will not want to play Spain or Slovenia in quarterfinal. Truth is both teams can for sure in those two teams but why make a harder game so early? Probably the target for them both is to play Serbia or Turkey.

Assists are counted different in FIBA rules. How many ing times does this need to be explained? He had about 5 NBA assists against Olympiacos and about 3-4 against CSKA. But under FIBA rules he was only counted for one.

If you are 2nd among Papaloukas and Prigioni then you are a POINT GUARD. Prigioni and Papaloukas are with Nash as the 3 best at getting assists. Even they are better than Chris Paul at that actually.

So it is very amazing how a "shooting guard" could be with them in assists stats. You know some idiots say Spanoulis is not a point guard. They are smoking something, there is very few players anywhere that is more of a point guard. Maybe just those 3 and maybe Paul and that is it.
