Seriously, it's the black man is gonna come and take your white women played out on a national scale by the right...they aren't for any reform on health-care, never were, that's why they have no alternative plan....they are about stalling, misinformation, disinformation and the hope that they can manipulate (indoctrinate) enough voters in 2010 all the while the country bleeds to death from their doing...

He's just recruiting your children to be on his death panels. One would think parents would want their kids to decide who lives and who dies.

    Well then, youre clueless. Incurably.
No. You are. If you would have read my entire posts regarding this you would see I re-thought my initial passioned response regarding why I thought this to begin with. I had since found out it was not a nationwide mandated rule that all districts were forced to have the children watch this and that is what I was concerned about to begin with. Obviously many school districts still have the ability to choose what they deem as necessary...That's a good thing.

Also a liar. You see these same type of lying assholes at townhall, shout that they don't want government health care and then end up in the hospital the next day using their medicare for a heart attack.
What did I lie about? You are a joke. At least most other people that disagree in this political forum repreave thoughtful insight and useful information. I debate my opinions. You condem anything that doesn't agree with your narrow thoughts.

    You asked me this...
LMAO! Why do people who've never experienced a war and death always spout this bull ? I doubt you've ever fired to kill before Mr. internet revolutionary. Let me ask something, have you ever been shot at with intent to kill? Have you ever seen a pool of blood from a wound? Are you willing to risk your kids lives? You honestly think non right wing people don't have weapons or have technical savey enough to create and operate nuclear weapons?
What do you know about me personally that makes you think I never had?

And other than risking my own kids lives...YES.

You sit behind a computer and spout personal theories about a person posting instead of civilly debating. I try not to attack anyone individually but do defend my position until unless proven otherwise. I don't think you will find in any of my posts a personal attack towards a person differing with me unless they attack me first.

    Let me ask you this...
Have you EVER had a member of your family killed in the line of duty? Has anyone in your family EVER received the Congressional Medal of Honor? Has anyone in your family EVER had a US Navy ship named after them?

I don't ever bring those things up in my debates...but since you seem it is so important to ask and then cowar away at the end from the answer...SCREW YOU PUSSY.

Well, if president Obama sticks to the teleprompter, and if they don't change the speech, I see no problem with it:

You mean if he doesn't go off script and tries to indoctrinate the kids like Reagan did?

Today, to a degree never before seen in human history, one nation, the United States, has become the model to be followed and imitated by the rest of the world. But America's world leadership goes well beyond the tide toward democracy. We also find that more countries than ever before are following America's revolutionary economic message of free enterprise, low taxes, and open world trade. These days, whenever I see foreign leaders, they tell me about their plans for reducing taxes, and other economic reforms that they are using, copying what we have done here in our country.

I wonder if they realize that this vision of economic freedom, the freedom to work, to create and produce, to own and use property without the interference of the state, was central to the American Revolution, when the American colonists rebelled against a whole web of economic restrictions, taxes and barriers to free trade. The message at the Boston Tea Party -- have you studied yet in history about the Boston Tea Party, where because of a tax they went down and dumped the tea in the Harbor. Well, that was America's original tax revolt, and it was the fruits of our labor -- it belonged to us and not to the state. And that truth is fundamental to both liberty and prosperity.

I'm with the Powerline guys on this one...

The White House has released the prepared text of President Obama's "back to school" speech. The speech exhorts students to study hard and aim to achieve big things. It is devoid of any controversial content. As such, it is unobjectionable.

One might have hoped for less discussion of Obama himself, particularly the things he's tried to accomplish in the area of education. But that hope would have been unrealistic with this president.

The speech does, of course, offer a potential springboard for teachers or administrators who wish to promote Obama and/or his agenda. This concern became particularly acute after the Department of Education produced its infamous "how can you help Obama" package. But with that particular package now inoperative, there is no good reason for Obama not to give his speech. Perhaps it will inspire a few students to perform better or accomplish more than they otherwise would have.

I hope he doesn't go into the part of his education where he sought out to surround himself with marxist professors, feminists, and extremist blacks, so not to be a sell-out. Or how he "did blow"

Seriously, do you know waht the difference is between socialism and marxism? I will give the benefit of the doubt but shouldn't we all agree if we are going to label people then we should be able to define the labels?

Marxism is the system of socialism of which the dominant feature is public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. Instead of people being rich, middle class and poor, under marxism everyone is poor.
All the worst dictators in the past hundred years have used a form of Marxism. Most liberals secretly like Marxism. Normally all religious leaders and land owners are the first to go. Marxism is more deadly than all the world's 20th century wars combined.

marxism is Friedrich Engals and Karl Marx's brand of socialism. I did not call anyone a marxist. THat is a quote from BHO's book. He said it.

Ha. Did you read Reagan's speech?

I think we have restored the belief in America's freedom and the obligation that we have to our country. I think there's more patriotism today. We've been in a time when people have gotten rather cynical about those things.
What do the Powerline guys think of his speech?

For the sake of time I am not citing anything, but I am not hiding the fact that I use factual data. I know that sounds weird to libs but it works out better.

I don't think that's entirely accurate. In true Marxism, the people are part of the government and they all own everything collectively. That would seem to be inconsistent with a dictatorship.

It is always the inner party who "dictates" what is best for the people. Look at Saddam, Mao, Lenin and Stalin.
