not on tv...though it is a lost opportunity...though i believe it has to do with a gentlemen's agreement between ncaa and nfl not to infringe on each other's play days.
Is it not on TV?

It is on CBS.
Not here...we're getting tennis.
I'm watching Nebraska-Southern Miss.
well the tennessee and miami markets are the ones getting the game..
Jim lives in college station, why is he getting the game?
From what I heard last night, the game is only available in the Tennessee and Miami areas. Supposedly, I'm guessing this is only for the first three months of the football season, the NFL isn't allowed to broadcast games on Friday and Saturday, because of HS and College games on those two days.
If you have NFL Sunday Ticket, the game will be shown on there tomorrow via replay.
Consider the source.Jim lives in college station, why is he getting the game?
They said yesterday that it wouldn't be on due to the TV contract with the US Open.
