TPark, as you can plainly see, Boston is a better hitting team than St Louis, so if they should happen to meet in the WS, the Sox will have a shot at winning.

Also Boston's Ramirez and Ortiz are the best hitting tandem in the AL. They are 1-2 in homeruns, slugging % and total bases. They are 1st and 3rd in RBIs, and 3rd and 9th in batting %.

I am soooo looking forward to the playoffs this year. Boston just activated Trot Nixon and Pokey Reese as a bonus, so they should be near 100& by October. I know the Yankees are not going to beat the Sox this year....no way no how...the curse is over.

If past failures limit future potential, I guess you will be a virgin for a long long time.

I was a Spurs' fan for 23 yrs before they finally broke through to win in 99....and I remember everyone always pointing out the Spurs' failures every year, especially in 95 when they lost to Houston after having the #1 seed. So, that proves that you are not doomed to repeat past failures forever.

Boston scores 3 on Tim Hudson in 1st inning with 4 walks and a single by Ortiz. Hudson has the best ERA in the majors, and has only walked 32 batters all year:shock , and he gives up 4 in the 1st....unbelievable.

Are you comparing The Curse to the Spurs not winning a championship for twenty-some years?

    Seriously?

You might consider sobering up before posting.

Mark, 25 yrs without sniffing the Finals compares to the Curse, yes it does. Everyone called the Spurs chokers my whole life and that is the same thng that people say about Boston.

last I checked the Cardinals record was still waaayyyyy better than the Red Sox.

Last I checked the Cardinal's history, they have quite a bit more World Series rings.

BTW, rematch of 67 isnt out of the realm of possibility.

    Same result of course.
