I take what I said back about my top 3 soups; those are 2-4 on my list, with cioppino by far my #1.

So is cioppino. Exposure to both of the above at a young age is probably what turned me off to s fish for good.

It's a Cali thing. The best I have ever had is at a fish market near the aircraft carrier in San Diego (can't remember the name of the place). You can find it at Italian places and seafood places all over California though. I've never seen it in Texas, but then again I don't eat much seafood in Texas neither, so I haven't really looked for it there.

I ing love ketchup on my macaroni and most people think I'm weird. I don't think it's that weird.

I love man's mayo. Can't eat a sandwich without it. And I ing love salt and vinegar kettle chips. Also spinach.

7 mares has a different broth, doesn't it? Cioppino is usually a thick tomato soup, whereas 7 mares is clear and a bit y when I have had it. Both are pure greatness.

At the Redondo Beach fish market. The thing was alive while I was eating it, and had a really weird flavor that I cannot even begin to describe other than to say it's a little sweet. The only thing I can compare it to is baby poop (it has the EXACT same texture). I gave it a second chance at my favorite sushi place in LA (Noshi Sushi) and still hated it, and I love almost everything from that place.

Never had one of those. I guess I still have marine creatures I have not tried .

Concerning the sea urchin, I never liked it raw. But at home we make it with some kind of seasoning, you might like it this way.
