I'm pretty happy that they finally added the D-League to Association.
These rankings are mad crazy. Still going to get 2K10 and replace the cover with my Spurs Cover. I'll adjust the ratings.. I wont trust Live until they have proven they have made the necessary adjustments to their crapy game. Heck.. i might even keep those crapy ratings and STILL beat the Fakers..Lebron and Mavs.

Not so bad for TP (84) and manu (83).
Dirk is at 83, Gasol at 84, Durant at 82...
It's just some players like Rondo really overrated :
Kobe Bryant 97
Lebron James 96
Dwyane Wade 96
Chris Paul 94
Kevin Garnett 89
Deron Williams 89
Dwight Howard 89
Carmelo Anthony 88
Tim Duncan 88
Rajon Rondo 87
Brandon Roy 87
Devin Harris 86
Chauncey Billups 85
Andre Iguodala 84
Danny Granger 84
Tony Parker 84
Chris Bosh 84
Al Jefferson 84
Gilbert Arenas 84
Joe Johnson 83
Dirk Nowitzki 83
Kevin Durant 82
Amare Stoudemire 82
Baron Davis 82
Shaquille O’Neal 81
Stephen Jackson 81
Derek Rose 80
Jason Kidd 80
Steve Nash 80
Gerald Wallace 78
Tayshaun Prince 77
Tracy McGrady 77
Richard Jefferson 76
Michael Redd 76
Rashard Lewis 75
Greg Oden 74
I just don't like Rondo's ratings. I realise he is a better defender than most PGs but his shooting obviously sucks and his passing is not Jason Kidd like.
2K Ranks Rondo as having an equal jumpshot to Posey
2k10 producer must be a Celtics fan.
All those guys over TP is really stupid.
Sasha Vujacic is rated 69. That is so high for him. He should be a 60.
He's rated the same as pietrus
Ratings don't really bother me, I usually spend a few hours editing, it's definitely worth it..they're always horrible..
those ratings suck. i think the best job 2k ever did with the ratings was 2k9. duncan an 87 when he was a 98 on 2k9? Tony an 84? in 9, TP was an 88 and i bumped him to a 96 (where he should be). i think i'll just keep 2k9 and update it and create all the rookies...
Ive been a 2k fan since Dreamcast but 2k10 is a pure joke. The bomb this year is Modern Warfare 2!!!
Thankfully 2k updates their rosters, and allows you to edit them yourselves. These ratings are god-awful.
This is Ridiculous.
Anyway it doesn't surprise me.
The reason the ratings are so different is that 2k9, it was far too easy to score because everyone's ratings were sky high. Now, people that only do 1-2 things good and suck at everything else (most NBA players) have far more accurate, relatively speaking, ratings. Guys like LeBron are rated correctly because with (somewhat, its never perfect anyone) accurately rated teammates, he can be shut down much easier with double teams, different defenders/defenses etc when before, doubling always meant their entire team would beat you which is very often not the case in the NBA.
its all about nba09 the life its more realistic game play
Actually, they're both pretty unrealistic.
nba live and NBA the life are both extremely unrealistic compared to 2k
WOW those ratings were absolute trash...Jefferson at 76? Really? He should at least be an 80...TP probably at 90...TD probably at 88 or so...Manu mid 80's.
I think they will update the rosters a lot of people are complaining on their site.
we should all send letters to these heads! and tell them we will be burning their game and passing it out as freebees to our friends
Have you played the game? While I agree that the ratings are a little confusing (some just asinine), the ratings are almost always awful when the game is released...Not to mention they've changed up their rating system this year. So, instead of the average rating being around a 79, most ratings are well below that. As I said before, 2k allows you to edit the rosters, but they also release updates themselves.
I'd rather throw NBA Live around the yard.
I guess I'm in the minority. I'm not a huge gamer and have always preffered NBA Live's setup and graphics and playing and what not.
OH well.
I must admit Live looks nice this year, and the presentation is always top notch. I might get both.
all those ratings arent as important as the shooting animation
i wonder if nash and miller still shoot 60% beyond the arc regardless of defense
