6-Gerrard
7-Ibrahimovic
8-Iniesta

This should be a fairly easy decision. I predict:
1) Messi
2) Ronaldo
3) Kaka
It should be:
1-Messi
2-Xavi
3-Iniesta
Why is Arshavin spelled like THAT?
Looks like the French way of spelling his name to me.
Anyway, it has got to be Messi. His play was downright sick last season. I'd probably put Xavi at #2 as well.
Messi
CRonaldo
Torres
Xavi
Kaka
Eto'o
Ibra
Drogba
Iniesta
yes it's the french way of spelling. I don't know why but when a russian name ends with a "n" we have to add "e" (staline, lenine...)
I wish Xavi or Iniesta would get it above Messi.
Maybe Xavi has a chance because he was the best player in the Eurocup that Spain won but I highly doubt it 'cause Guardiola (Barca's coach) and all the Barca's players (including Xavi and Iniesta) spent all season talking about how Messi is the best player in the world so it would be kind of strange if FIFA gives the award to a guy that declared that a teammate is better than him.
They'll give it to Messi because it'll create even further rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The two best players in the world yada yada yada blah blah blah
Eurocup was last year, so i don't know why that would factor in. Anything but Messi would be a huge shock.
Messi will get it, but in my personal opinion, Xavi is the best player in Barca
Drogba is easily the best player in the World right now. The way he dominates a game is amazing. He can score, he can pass, he can defend, he's good on set pieces either kicking or for the header, you can send him long and punt it to him with success, he just wears down defenses physically. He may not be as flashy as Messi or Ronaldo but overall he's the best player in the game right now.
drogba is the best striker in the world, his just to damn good.
while a player like messi or ronaldo is just to dominant with the ball and can dictate how a game to be played whether its pacing up the game or just slowing it down....
messi is good, but i find him overrated, i look at all those defenders are to scared to tackle him compared other players with the same assignments....
10 finalists for the Golden Ball (no Torres and Lampard)
Didier Drogba
Samuel Eto'o
Steven Gerrard
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Andres Iniesta
Kaka
Lionel Messi
Cristiano Ronaldo
Wayne Rooney
Xavi
Messi will get it. Ronaldo gets 2nd place and Xavi gets third. Book it.
Messi is deserving. He had a great year. Congrats!!!
I wouldn´t have complained if Xavi got it. But forwards get more recognition than midfielders.
seeing Samuel Eto'o and Rooney in that list is a surprise for me. I hope Gourcuff will be part of it next year
