I was gonna trade my 360 with my little cousin but am deciding to just buy another one and keeping two.
i'd think about getting a 2nd xbox to mod it, but never go on xbox live with it
and then use that modded offline xbox to play all the single player games that aren't worth buying, and get the new games out early
like, I regret spending money on Fable II and Oblivion

DAMN this sucks! I didnt even play any new games like MWF2 or whatever. Newest game I got was Borderlands and I played that well after the release date.
I mean wtf, my xbox is insignificant compared to the other modders. They have about 100 games in their list, I only got about 10! And most of them are old ass games like Gears or some . in bull .

My XBOX 360 is almost 4 years old. I've never ever hooked it up to the net.
I just don't have time and I'm not a big fan of playing online. I rather spend my time on a good single player game.

I have one Elite that is used for Xbox live and a modded xbox that I don't use for online gaming. That is the best way to go about it and this whole banning modded consoles online wasn't exactly without its warnings. But, to each his own...
Just for the record, modded consoles are actually still undetectable.
I'm the same way, except I do require XBox Live for watching video (everything but seemingly .wmv requires downloading the codec every time you watch something).

My XBOX doesn't even have a hard drive.
I use a Popcorn Hour to watch video. Support pretty much every format out there including HD, and it's so small, I actually recommend it.
Yeah the console is banned for good, but my gamertag is still usable. Everything you earned with that gamertag will be corrupted such as achievement points and game saves.
I've thought about modding my current xbox360, I KNOW its on its last legs. I got it when they first came out and still havnt got a red ring but I am starting to have problems with it. Sometimes the tray wont eject and I have to tap pretty hard on the s to get it to open and sometimes it doesnt read the discs correctly. Once in a rare while I will get a red ring but a power down and restart takes care of that problem.
I might Mod it and buy another.
I feel his pain about the gamerscore though. You know how hard it is to get 1000/1000 completion on MW?? That damn airplane stage on veteran?? I dont even wanna remember some of the levels I had to go through to get to that point. Man...all that frustration and rage I had during those days......I can't do it again.
My achievements and game saves work just fine on mine.
From what I know every achievement you get after being banned will be corrupted. Plus you can't install games on the HD.

It means Microsoft has detected a burned/cracked game being played on your Xbox and subsequently banned you from playing on Xbox Live.
