What's up with Gio anyways, he always plays with intensity against the top teams, but disappears after? Confusing to say at least lol.Gio needs help he's the only one looking dangerous tbh.

What if Mexico somehow plays even better then they have in the first half but still lose by a difference of 1 Iron? If that happens, I think the Mexican media will once again be in Chepos side, not totally on his side but have some sort of faith in him once again, I hope that doesn't happen

Maza did not know where the ball was gonna go, he didn't know it was gonna land on Neymars feet... he did what a defender is supposed to do, which was to head the ball but unfortunately the direction went the other way. Overall he was decent, but they both did get owned, I'm officially sold on Neymar, tbh.

Finally a Mexico win, their best performance in the Conf cup, if they play like they did today they shouldn't have problem in the Concacaf
Not surprising that once 2 of the biggest cancers on the team (Maza and Salcido) are benched the team plays better. Now just need to phase out Torrado. Although if Chepo is still here i won't be surprised if Maza is still the captain against Honduras in september.

He played really well for Arsenal, a small team from Argentina that has had some nice seasons in recent years. What impreses me more about Benedetto is his ability to create something out of nothing (Arsenal is known for defending well with a lot of guys and attacking with very few leaving the strikers with little support, yet he could still create chances fighting for divided balls against 2 or 3 guys and/or intelligent movements to find open spaces).
He's a banger, don't expect a lot of magic or subtleties. If he adapts to Mexico he could be a good signing.
