Spurs with another ty game. If hornets actually showed up in the 1st, they win this game EASILY in a blowout. Spurs were also lucky to be on the upside of a +26 FT discrepancy.
BTW, I called this win on the Kori show the day before yesterday.![]()

Good game and good win. Beggars can't be choosers, we needed a good win on the road and we got it.
the game hasn't even been over for 5 minutes and we already have our first complaint of the W.
and another
yeah, but NO was just as tired as we were.
Damn good win for a team playing it's 5th game in 6 1/2 days.
I like the Hill/Parker back court and I think it should continue.
Hill brings very solid ball handling, nice offense, good rebounding and the ability to make big defensive plays; like when he drew the charge on cp3.
No, it wasn't a great win, but given how tired we were I'll take it.

Really? How many games have NO played recently? 5 in 6.5 days? Or were they just on a b2b?
It was a legit question. I expected this game to be like any game against Dallas.
Why did NO not show up?
What do you think?
Sons, why does timvp keep co-signing his posts with Kori?
I really can't believe we won that game and actually led by a lot for most of it. I was honestly expecting to get blown out after the way we stomped them on opening night.
Good win tonight. The final result looks closer than the game was. Props to George Hill- great game!
We are on the same computer and I (Kori) don't feel like signing out/back in.
Spurs weren't at full strength and they were playing their 5th game in 6 and a half day against a team that was 15-3 at home. It's a damn great win.![]()
I don't care if they showed up or not, these guys have one of the top home records in the league. They apparently showed up for 83% of their home games before today.
What do you think of the Hill/Parker back court?
Weren't you expecting more of a Dallas like game against these guys tonight though?
Maybe I can't fathom an easy win these days against a team over .500 on the road.
I didn't see this as an easy game, the Spurs did a tremendous job on Paul which slows down the entire Hornets team.
-edit: oops thought you had quoted me![]()
Is it a good or bad thing that no one hardly even mentioned RJ in the game thread? I kinda forgot he was even on the team.
Alright I will say it was a good win. You've turned me around. Maybe we had a hand in the Hornets not showing up. That's what the Spurs used to do when they were at their best. Take away the other teams weapons and neutralize them.
Quite the semantics. They played 5 in 7.5 days. Not that big of difference.
