Parker definitely looks hurt. duncan looks fine regarding health IMO. just bad shooting night. plus he hasnt been able to back anyone down yet. it was all him running to the basket getting it swiped or him missing contested 18 ft bankers. he needs to get back to the bread and butter.

Up by 5 is good - especially after the slow start. Tony and Timmy must take over in the 2nd half. Manu can't carry all by himself. And they need to step up on D against Boozer. He is destroying us!

Bonner is a very effective weapon in the offense. He can spread the floor and draw out the big man.
The Spurs' Defensive scheme is based on rotation and funneling for a help D so Bonner's defensive liability can be covered.

While I don't think +/- stats are really a good barometer of a player's performance, we can see how much better the team has been when Manu has been on the floor. When he entered in the first quarter, the Spurs exploded on a huge run.

Seeing as how Parker is broken and we are using Ginobili as the primary playmaker more and more, I'm thinking its becoming very necessary for us to find another playmaker before the trade or signing deadline.

We can give him ginobili minutes in the first half to make Ginobili fresher for his second half minutes. He's been finishing slow lately, I think we really need it.

Now....where's Marcus Bryant to tell us who is available....

I got no problem with Bonner taking three's, because that's basically what he's for. I'm just over the supposed necessity of having a perimeter-style three point shooting big man, on this particular team.
