Granted, the Spurs must continue to play at their current level because the margin of error is so tight in the West that a bad streak of 10 games could cost a playoff spot.

And after watching this game I think its the perimeter defense thats the problem, not the defense down low. Lowry and Brooks continually burned you guys and then the big men went going after the bigs doubled the guards.
Well... There are games where you can take something good out of them even in defeat, but not this one.
They still suck something fierce and each game just seems to reinforce that. So yeah, typical game from the New Spurs.

If you add all the injuries pb, the fact that Tony won't be the old TP this year (as long as he takes a rest) and Manu won't be Manu anymore (exept some games/plays...), It becomes hard to be optimistic!!!
