Go Spurs Go! If they play this hard I think they'll good to go. Sometimes it doesn't seem everyone bring the effort needed to win in this league.
WTF man? Are you always such a face? Don't attack me because u don't know me. I don't hate Jefferson, he just makes me angry and isn't playing the way I thought he would. So calm down asshole.

ESPN also gave Tim Duncan, the greatest forward ever to play and one of the 5 greatest players in the history of the game TWENTY SEVEN MOTHER ING REBOUNDS IN THIRTY FIVE MINUTES OF PLAY, AND LIKE USUAL, LIKE ING 8 REBOUNDS IN THE CLUTCHEST MOMENTS ING YEAH JESUS CHRIST HOLY
Would you trade Hill though? Ducks seems to think it's OK to throw him in a trade for Amare.
Yes, I can be a when people make unwarranted criticism. The guy had a real nice game and all you can do is criticize? GTFO
That was a great effort from the Spurs. Why couldn't they bring this type of effort the last few games?
No way... he's one of the few playing good defense out there...
Great win... nice to see a pulse.
That boy cant interact in a message board without insulting people. He thinks its cool to fill his replies with s, s and bags.
Yep. I like George at the 2 . . . T.J. Ford is available.
Duncan
Dice
Manu
Jefferson
Hill
that was a beautiful line up
Mommy! Johnny swore!! OMG! Mommy!! Make him stop!!

I like that line-up, too, but with Manu running the offense. If Tony goes out for awhile I hope Manu starts.
Sorry about the quoting, but it's the only way I can post here from my phone.
It's not a height thing, it's a strength/jumping quickness thing. Tim struggles against heavy guys because he can't budge them in the post, and quick-leaping guys because he has no hops himself.
And some days he just misses gimmes... we all do... I know how he feels... I shot 5/14 last week and missed 5 gimmes I'd usually gobble up! Very frustrating.
No, you are often a for no reason, and I'm not the only one who has commented on it.
As for RJ's game, it was pretty good compared to his form of late, although he went missing in the 3rd and jacked too many jumpers in the 4th. I thought his best work was Ding up on Johnson in the 4th and forcing him into 3 or 4 misses.
Stop hating on rj and his jump shot don't hear people ing about manu when he take ed up 3s for no reason when the should run a play
Name once I was a for "no reason"
I really don't care if he starts just as long he is in there with them
RJ is younger and more Athletic than Manu at this point. Most of us expect him to drive to the rack.
Manu is still trying to drive to the rack, but it doesn't seem like he's quite there yet.
We simply don't need RJ to shoot jumpers. I don't know how good of a shooter RJ was, but it seems to me like he was average even in NJ? With Manu the guy has been a pretty good shooter and I keep expecting those shots to fall. I don't expect RJ's to fall. Maybe I am wrong and RJ is a better shooter than I am giving him credit for. Bottom line they both need to go to the rack more especially RJ as he is younger and more athletic.

Its not about the swearing that I cant take. Im just wondering why you cant reply without being a jerk, you dont have to insult/cuss at someone when you dont agree with their opinions.
No one's attacking you, friend.
I think everyone just accepts the good with the bad as far as Manu is concerned because we've all seen Manu be great. You can't say the same for Jefferson, but I am encouraged.
Updated.
Spurs win big against Hawks, but lose Parker
By Paul J. Weber
The San Antonio Spurs snapped a three-game losing streak by blowing out one of the best teams in the league.
Plenty of reason to feel good about that, but the Spurs could hardly celebrate because on the way to beating the Atlanta Hawks 105-90 on Wednesday night, Tony Parker sprained his left ankle and it’s uncertain how long he’ll be out.
X-rays were negative, but it didn’t look good for San Antonio’s star point guard.
“We’re going to have to adjust to it,” said Tim Duncan, who grabbed a career-high 27 rebounds and scored 21 points. “We’re trying to get something going here and then we lose Tony. We’ll find a way to get it done.”
Parker tumbled to the baseline after a hard drive to the basket in the third quarter, and immediately began writhing on the ground. Television replays showed Parker awkwardly plant his foot during the drive.
Parker left with the same injury that caused him to miss four games earlier this season. He’s also been bothered all season by plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
The Spurs will likely know more Thursday about when Parker will be ready to play.
Until then, the Spurs will enjoy the win. It’s just the second in their last seven games, and the first in their six-game homestand. Only two more remain before the Spurs hit the road for 3 1/2 weeks for their annual Rodeo Road Trip.
“I thought we made a statement from the start,” said Spurs forward Antonio McDyess, who scored 17. “We let ourselves down and we had given games away, just beaten ourselves. But tonight we came out and made a statement.”
Joe Johnson scored 31 and Jamal Crawford had 25 points for the Hawks, whose winning streak ended at three games. Josh Smith had 14 points and 16 rebounds.
“They had been struggling of late,” Johnson said. “They needed to get (a win) desperately and they came out and acted like it tonight.”
The Hawks haven’t won in San Antonio since 1997. But this lopsided loss— San Antonio led by as many as 28 in the first half and never trailed—was perhaps worst than expected.
The Spurs entered stuck in their worst slump of the season, having recently betrayed their defensive iden y. The Hawks, meanwhile, came in leading their division this late in the season for the first time since 1999.
But Atlanta never really got close in this one.
The Spurs matched a season-high with 66 first-half points and held the Hawks to 40 percent shooting.
“I guess we weren’t ready to play,” Smith said. “We love that kind of pace, but we weren’t ready to play.”
Duncan had his first 20-20 game since 2005, and the 20th of his career. His 27 rebounds were also an NBA season high.
Duncan bested his previous career rebounding high of 25, set against Miami in 2003. He made just five of 20 shots and had 10 offensive rebounds.
“I mostly rebounded my own shots and that helps,” Duncan said. “Helps a whole lot, so I can just get that out of the way.”
George Hill scored 16 points as all Spurs starters were in double figures. That includes Parker, who had 10 points and eight assists before being helped off the court.
Notes: Spurs F DeJuan Blair was selected to play in the Rookie Challenge game Feb. 12, ahead of the NBA All-Star game. Blair joins Detroit’s Jonas Jerebko as the only second-round picks on the rookie team. …The Hawks had beat Dallas and Houston on the road, but were denied their first 3-0 sweep in Texas since 1990-91.

Rj good goning to the rack but he is not a jump shooter I just hate when people take a 3 with 15 or more second on the shoot clock rj needs to play more like he did in the 1st half manu keep doing what he's doing just hate the chunking up 3s when they are not needed(bonner)
I dont hate on Manu when he keeps on pulling up for jumpers instead of slashing the lane because he is already injury prone, I'd rather see him take care of himself for the playoffs than go all out before April.
Now, RJ on the other hand, was signed because the spurs need a slasher that will provide offense whether it be a drive to the basket or FTs. Im probably just pissed because Rj is earning more than TP and Manu and just pulling up Js.
