    maybe the league would also make a 3rd league the spurs could play in and avoid west coastal power teams like the east. Maybe a move to 4 regions would make more sense

    I wouldn't mind a regional-type setup, where teams take fewer but longer road trips and have longer homestands. imo that would also increase the win% of the home team which should increase attendance, especially for the bad teams.

    You might have to overweight out-of-region record in playoff seeding to prevent a weak region from having teams with inflated seeds.
