We win![]()
ing christ. I wish our team could shoot like that at the end.. but hey i'll take the win.
I'm just going to pretend the last minute in regulation didn't exist.
Spurs escape, not a great momentum/confidence builder
lol what an ugly ending but at least the spurs won.
Wow. The Kings were hitting every garbage shot they threw up and the Spurs still won. Nice.
Actually it might be lucky time ran out because Evans just hit another 3.
Evans was hot as .
Ladies and gentlemen..I think we just witnessed the most stat-padding in a game in NBA history..
Coach Popovich: I think we played good enough defense.
When you've got nothing to lose, it's so much easier to shoot lights out.
Ugly game - but at least it was a win. That 3 at the end was totally uncalled for - Pop would've been screaming if one of our guys did that.
the kings and their fluke shots! they just wasted our time but hey i wish the spurs could do stuff like that.
Sorry, but I witnessed the worst stat padder on January 22, 2006 in NBA history.
dammit i sat tyreke on my fantasy team tonight lol
The line for this game at tip was -4.5. That buzzer-beater, pointless 3 cost some gamblers a lot of money.
Tyreke McGrady Evans!!
I think we pissed the basketball gods off somehow...
The last 2 minutes didn't mean anything..
Spurs need a lot of work, but I don't know if I've ever seen more lucky shots from an opposing team than I saw in the game tonight..
Spurs defense was very good in the 2nd half. Held them to a 24 point 3rd and they had 17 with like 2.3 minutes to go in the fourth before they started heaving.
And you paid a dear price for that. He led the Kings in points, rebounds, assists and steals.
Well, sleep better be sweet tonight for tomorrow never knows...
I can't believe Evans hit all those shots at the end - I guess the Spurs thought the Kings would throw in the towel - but Evans needed more points so the announcers could continue their lovefest.
Maybe the Basketball gods hate small ball? We get the wrath untill we play the way the game was set up to be played.![]()
Now that Mason got his pocket picked clean, I wonder if Pop will now bench him the way he did Beno. Or perhaps he'll bench this repeated idea of Mason being used as backup PG.
