Lets hope the Spurs come out and keep these guys to 24 points or below each quarter. Make the adjustments and up the effort.
Ian would have kept Aldridge in check, I think.
But Pop decides to keep the only athletic big we have glued to the bench.
Lets hope the Spurs come out and keep these guys to 24 points or below each quarter. Make the adjustments and up the effort.
The bench is what has been sub-par so far (other than the D). They're getting outscored 19-10.
Spurs are still in the game because they had more free throws.
i hate the 2 point lead. the blazers will close us out in the 3rd. book it.
no mason so far....... TRADE maybe?
why do we even have ratliff? why did we even keep ian all these years?
oh but 4 guards and a 6-7 center most of the quarter makes sense though.
If you guys think Tony can keep on making those ridiculous shots in the 2nd half, I have a parcel on the moon for sale. We better play a 'lick of defense' or we're not going to win this.
lol @ commentators thinking that 13-7 is a run
When the Spurs jumped out to an 8 point lead twice, no mention of a run. But once the Blazers battled back and got a one point lead, they were apparently on a run.
lol bonner with +5 in 6 mins
Only 2 to's from the Spurs.
lol barkely having a lot more faith in this team than spurs fans
Chuck: They only fear the Lakers.
Lol the Spurs fear any winning team.
Barkley: Popovich is a genius.
ROFTLMAO!
wow really? nice
This really worries me. The refs will come out and make sure that the Spurs have more fouls than Portland.
They just don't show many games on TNT...
Charles. He tells Kenny: "You agree with me, boy you getting smarter".
Sorry Sir Charles, but you got it wrong. The Spurs fear the Lakers and the Mavericks (now).
Why do you guys think Mahinmi can help?! Jesus, these game threads are like a bad acid trip.
Any guy 6 foot 10 or above playing PF > Jefferson playing the PF
I don't think Mahinmi can, but I think Ratliff can.
I agree with their premise. Yes the Spurs are battling injuries. Yes they are not playing well. But every team but the Lakers is still beatable in a series. I don't think it is a given, but if the Spurs somehow manage to tighten it up a little, they will be in every series.
Ridiculous.
I'm hoping the Spurs were just doing the Blazers a solid and letting them practice their transition offense; a Spurs team just can't be that bad in transition defense, right?
Jam the passer, stop the ball, make someone score after a reset and not in the first wave... something?
19ast to 6 turns for the Blazers?
At half?
Turrible..
And RMJ's a better smallball 4 than RJ.![]()
