Manuuuuuuuuuuuu is not bsing tonight.
so finley wants to stand there and let the ball come to him please trade or release him but ginobili is playing well lets put them away in the 4th
Manuuuuuuuuuuuu is not bsing tonight.
Finally Manu with back to back 3 pointers...
15 point quarter
Best of the season so far... Gotta keep the pace slow... Pop gotta go back to bigs ASAP
Put this game away and make me look like an idiot for predicting a loss.
much better defense in the 3rd, hopefully they keep it up in the 4th. The rebounding was still sub-par though...
I cant believe my eyes
Spurs win a 3rd quarter
Spurs play Defense
Manu hits 3.....
great news!!!
Phenomenal game from Tony. He is playing beast mode tonight.
That's the frustrating thing. We see flashes of it and it feels so good. Then it disappears.
Manu Ginobili, of all the players on the team, has really played with the most sense of urgency. When he said the other day he "wasn't used to losing 5 of 6 at home" or whatever exactly it was, he sounded so frustrated with just the idea of losing... Hopefully he's on our team come the playoffs. We need him.
I'll point out that on the last possession on the 3rd it was all started by Fin's steal and defense. So, he's not entirely useless.
Hopefully the team doesn't gas in the 4th.
Now the key here..
keep the intensity on D up and DON'T STOP ATTACKING THE RIM!..
almost every time the Spurs build a decent lead this season, they start settling for jump shots and turning the ball over, losing all momentum and allowing the other team to get back in the game..
keep attacking, get some easy points at the rim and get to the foul line..control the game, keep the momentum..
Glad you're watching.![]()
You've got to be impressed with how sharp Tony is.
Wonder if the young fella's career night got the ol' compe ive juices flowing.![]()
extremely frustrating...but its why i will always have hope
spurs got a shot in the arm on a back2back with tp9 portland not so lucky without roy
we didn't have one TO in the 3rd except for that finley " i need to past the ball to somebody"'s TO
Transition D and not letting the Blazers have offensive rebournds will be the key in the 4th.
spurs to start out the 4th small, we'll see how it goes
I hope defense is just not making a special presentation tonight. I liked what I saw in the 3rd quarter.
Let's hope we have some legs for the 4th... Miller and Aldrige should be tired too though, the played last night too
They finally adjusted on D to the Aldridge pick and pop..
First shot attempt = 3-pointer..
