It is the Clippers. I wouldn't put much stock into beating these guys.
    beating this soundly is good
spurs need to keep their big lead all 3 and be able to rest the big three all the fourth quarter

oh i wasnt aware of that. my mistake. it just seems like he is because when i watch him he misses a few.
He's been pretty bad lately. He was shooting over 90% from the line about a month ago.

The big thing going into the second half is to effectively put the game away in the first five minutes. Not necessarily by extending the lead, but by not allowing a quick 10-2 spurt or something like that that get's the Clippers and their fans going.

Excellent job by Pop with the rotation in the first half. Other than McDyess, nobody was overextended. Hopefully, if the Spurs step on the Clippers throat, like they should, McDyess and the big three won't be needed much in the second half and can rest up for the Lakers and Nuggets.
Can this team show killer instinct?? The first sniff of killer instinct was brought when Mario Elie joined this team in 1999 and it stuck around for a long time. Would love to see some of it tonight.

Can we keep them under 80 points?
You mean "can they keep themselves under 80pts?"

Our D has proven that it can't stop anything this season.

Look at RJ stats in the first half:
    0-5 FG
    0-1 3pt
    3 reb
    1 TO
    2 PF
    1 ST
    2 Block Against

And Spurs pay this guy $14million?

Have you been watching? It was a mix of decent defense and terrible offense actually - we didn't force those 14 TOs. BDiddy has been particularly atrocious.

I'm wondering the same thing. Based on what we've seen this season, my answer would be no. But, hopefully, at least for a game, they can. I want to see the Clippers held under 85 points and at least in the low 40% from the field in this game. Obviously, it would be an upset if they continued to be this inept offensively (mainly because it's highly unlikely they commit another 15 turnovers in the 2nd half), but there's no reason this should be a back-and-forth half where it takes 50-60 points to comfortably put them away.

Spurs still can't score for . Clips don't play defense, and Spurs shoot 39%.

02/03 Spurs couldn't score much, but they had defense.

...and with Thornton in the locker room.

    Why? Because he is GARBAGE.
I wonder what fans would think if RJ is playing this bad on purpose so he can lower his trade value.

LOL RJ may be screwing us in more ways than we thought.

    LOL, Kim Hughes.

I remember this guy. He was without question the worst free throw shooter EVER.

    Worse than Bowen.
    Worse than Shaq.
    Worse than Chris Dudley.

How bad? Lifetime 33% NBA, 40% NBA + ABA combined.

One year he shot 28% from the line.

His best year was his last year, when he went 1 for 2.

I don't know if I like RJ being happy that he just hit a shot to put us up by 28 against the Clippers.
