    That is the major failure of the NBA verses the NFL. In the NFL any team who makes the playoffs can win it all. In the NBA the playoffs are still an act of futility for most teams. This is why we see the march to the hard cap.

    In the initial 9-0 run, it looked like the Spurs put in a lot of work only for it to be reversed in a few plays by the Lakers. Other than that, if this was a healthy Laker team I'd be pleased with how the 1st quarter went.

    Pop's interviews are the best.
