Not sure if you're talking about Ronaldo or Missi here, but in Ronaldo's case that's certainly been the case for his entire career. For Missi, only lately.
I'm saying he's the sole reason they're winning La Liga this season because he's scoring every crucial goal out there that turn draws or losses into wins. If you're been watching La Liga this season, this isn't really arguable.
