Great. Been wanting to watch The Walking Dead, since its on AMC. Every AMC show I have watched has been great.
Anyone know when Dexter is to return to streaming?

Star Trek Deep Space Nine
Caprica
Are all streaming.

Whys that?
Because Netflix contract with showtime expired. I think showtime wanted to start their own streaming service or something like that. The reason Weeds is still up is because Weeds is owned by Lionsgate.
Gotcha. Well hopefully showtime doesn't start their own service and lets netflix have their rights again.
no im lazy and dont wanna search google for dexter season 5
Who's watched this? I watched three episodes or so via Netflix DVD a while back and couldn't get into it. I liked battlestar galactica though. Caprica was just painfully dull from what I saw.
I haven't seen it either. I loved bsg so want to check this out. From what i've read people were pretty split on this. It was on of those love it or hate it type shows
I remember hearing about this one a few years ago, then forgot about it until it was covered in IFC's Indie Sex series, so I put it on my queue. The big deal is that there is lots of unsimulated sex but it's not porn. The problem is that, like porn, there isn't much plot, dialogue or character development. A lot of things in an intense sexual relationship is only interesting to the parties involved; but this relationship is pretty boring ---I kept waiting for "something to happen" but it never did.
Luckily the couple go to a lot of rock shows, so half the film is live concert footage of some decent bands like Franz Ferdinand and The Dandy Warhols; I actually fastforwarded thru some of the sex to get to the music![]()
I fapped to this film
Also watched this series a couple of weeks ago. It's a stuffy British period drama about the shenanigans of a stuffy rich family and, of course, all their servants. Great acting, gorgeous costumes and just basically a snooty soap opera. Loved it![]()
Just started watching this..
It's pretty damn good so far.
Just watched I Saw The Devil and Let The Right One In. Both great films.
Gold Rush: Alaska
A must see:
Cher: The Farewell Tour
I never really thought I would enjoy this as much as I do. Had it in my queue for a long time. I'm about 45 minutes into it, and it is surprising me.
I watched Cher on TV as a kid. Her first hit was in 1965. Her first solo was 1964. During the concert, they show archival footage also. Unless for some silly reason, you cannot stand the greatest woman singer of all time, it is a must see.
Dark Days
Just made available for streaming too.
I've watched the entire series of Psych.
Just barely funny/entertaining enough to keep me watching. All the '80s movie/tv/pop group jokes are solid.
I felt like a creep just watching that movie. I couldn't finish it though, just didn't interest me enough.
The rape scene in hounddog is only like 2 seconds. Waste of my ing time
Not a big hit in 1989, but I thought it was a great movie:
Her Alibi
1989 PG-13 94 minutes
When author Phil Blackwood (Tom Selleck) learns that beautiful Eastern European immigrant Nina (Paulina Porizkova) has been accused of murder on shaky evidence, he decides to intervene. Hoping to mine her story for material for his next novel, Blackwood offers to provide Nina with an alibi, forcing her case to be dismissed. But when Romanian spies start showing up at his house, Blackwood begins to think Nina might not be so innocent after all.
