Nice. I just watched Remo Williams. Loved that movie when I was a kid but the last 15 minutes are absolute dog . Odd how you don't remember that 20 years later.

Speaking of dog , some of these movie recos are exactly that. I didn't make it through 20 minutes with some of them.

The Stieg Larsson movie adaptions are pretty good. I didn't read the books so I have no idea how they compare.

I've been mainly streaming foreign flicks lately. Sticking to Akira for the next day or two.

Oh, and the Netflix UI sucks . Why did they put out five different versions?

I follow Roger Ebert on Twitter because he always gives good Netflix streaming recommendations. He tweeted about a movie just added called "The Human Centipede" but warned it was all kinds of crazy. I couldn't stop myself from watching it and I wish I had. Holy , who imagines this stuff?! I've seen some ed up but this is arguably some of the worst. I can't get the words "Feed Her!" out of my mind. Arghhh! Brain bleach!

I have only seen the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but it is a great adaptation and pretty faithful.

Yeah it really is amazing i have it on blu-ray and it looks great. Yojimbo and Sanjuro are both great as well.

Pretty sure it's not happening. The rumor started 4 1/2 years ago, but the remake isn't even listed with speculative/rumor status on IMDb. All adds up to equal dead.

Netflix is now offering a new Stream Only plan for $7.99.

Switched over today since i never get DVD's, and the fact that they raised the prices for DVD+Streaming from 8.99 to 9.99.. that. lol

Did you like it? I liked it more than yojimbo. Also part 3 is yojimbo meets zatoichi but it sucks.

I thought I had seen everything, but then I saw this movie....

I just signed up for the Streaming package so I could get some movies for a class I'm taking. So far it's actually been kind of a good deal. They've recomended some winners and some losers for me, mostly indie romance movies for me. Two of them have been so so.

Don't judge because it has HIlary Duff in it. She's actually alright in it. It's no Precious or anything, the end was kind of hurried...but it's worth a shot if you're in the mood for a an angsty teen movie.


This one is interesting because it takes on the idea of "if you were to know who you were going to fall in love with instantly....would you or wouldn't you?" Cheesy, yes. Okay, sure.


I'm going to give the Human Centipede a try today since the weather is going to be so crappy.

I think there was only one point where I really wanted to throw up...oh..when the Japanese guy is like "oh !" ahahahaha. It actually made me laugh more than it made me freak out. But, good thing I didn't eat lunch before. I don't know if I'd watch other freaky movies after though.
