82-Year-Old Woman Claims Handymen Stole $1,500 From Her Home

Police say an 82-year-old woman was robbed inside her home by two men claiming to be a father-son team of handymen.
Now that woman wants to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Marie Tumlinson says she's trying to forget what started in her backyard last Thursday.
Marie says two men she met up with at a northwest side grocery store offered to polish her patio. They showed up at her home and she told them to go ahead and work on it.
But she says they just covered it with white powder and made it worse.
"It's ruined. It'll have to be completely redone," said Tumlinson.
Frustrated, Marie told the men to stop, and offered to pay $150 for the work that they'd already done.
"He kept on, so I said let me go see how much money I have. And of course, I knew how much money I had, but I guess I left the bedroom door open," said Tumlinson.
So while paying the father, she thinks the son snuck into her bedroom.
When she went back into her bedroom $1,500 from an envelope was gone.
"I want them caught, and the worst that can happen to them, I want to happen to them," said Tumlinson.
Since Thursday, Marie hasn't seen the men.
She describes the men as Hispanic. Both had baseball caps on and beards.

mouse probobaly would have done a good job on the lady's patio...and for cheap....but he would prob take lots of breaks and demand to use her phone and radio and computer, and ask her to spring for a 12 pack.
