Rafa Marquez still playing for el Tri, tbh? That's the last time I remember them being good...
Yes, he'll be in the Copa America team but played the other day against Juventus so he couldn't be there today. Wish he was in the Gold Cup squad with Hector Moreno and Diego Reyes in the back though..
Chicharito scoring goals in Real Madrid...
Dempsey scoring goals with the Sounders
2-0
let the butthurt flow through you
Without Jack Warner's meddling influence on CONCACAF matters (now that he's been arrested for FIFA corruption) will the GOLD CUP be played on Mexican soil some time in the future... By default the tournament has been played in the US for the past 15-20 years. Not necessarily a crutch for el Tri, given the quan y of Mexicans in attendance at U.S. venues but you'd never see a "Dos a Cero" score play out against Mexicans on their turf. This would be critical because THEN you could send your A-Squad to Copa América and field your B-Squad at home to maximize el Tri's chances at both tournaments.
and before anyone asks... it was always about the money --> that's why CONCACAF has fielded most GOLD CUP tournaments on U.S. soil.
I got tickets to Mexico Argentina at cowboys stadium in September. Ready to chant be@ner chants and watch messi (GOD) on that country
be@ners
Alex Morgan married a be@ner
H!cks
hopefully you don't get beheaded.
Mexico doesn't even play their own home friendlies in Mexico... it's pretty obvious why the Gold Cup is held in the US.
Racketeering by FMF officials working within the limits of their influence to line their own pockets... this we know. That said, even they know that a Gold Cup tournament held in Mexico, would yield a certain default winner<-- That is what CONCACAF officials tried to prevent "almost "religiously" - those working within the influence of Warner's meddling..
