Agreed. There would be no Jaguar without her; that lucky bas .
I wouldn't say he is back to his funny smart self just yet; the two deaths in his life took a major toll on him and he is breaking down. I think he is one very, unhappy man.
pimps don't get slapped by their wives as far as I know.

1:22 mark
Funny and happy can be two TOTALLY different things. All of the dead alumni of SNL say hi.

Roger is having some problems, but at least he's on the couch and getting help. Don is the one who is truly adrift.
This season has been quite boring.
Joan whoring herself into being a partner and she's still looked as a joke.
Harry dropped massive truth bombs up in that meeting.
I thought tonights episode was the best of the season so far.
Compared to the last 3, yes I agree.
Hmm, any chance of a SCDP and Cutler, Gleason, and Chaoug merger after they both failed on Heinz? Neither can compete with the big agencies.
I didn't either, then I realized last night that she's a cuckingfunt.
Joan is a pretty awesome character, tbh.
Uh, those guys got the Ketchup account. They went to the bar to rub it in SCDP's nose.
"They bought it in the room..."
Don's losing his fastball. He got beat by a girl.
Technically yes but Peggy cheated her way into the win. Basically Don's group did the heavy lifting and then got their cookie taken away.
SDCP weren't supposed to be talking to Heinz either, were they?
Neither agency got the account. When Teddy Chaoug asks to join in the commiserating at the bar, he says something to the effect of "J. Walter Thompson. Bought it in the room."
The line has been pretty commonly misunderstood, it seems, as at first it sounds like J. Walter Thompson was the guy who bought CGC's campaign. That's how I heard it at first. But JWT is actually a competing advertising company that would have been much bigger than either SCDP or CGC at the time. Heinz Ketchup let SCDP pay for the room while they met with several different suitors.
Uh, no. They were in the bar for the same reason. Did they look happy to you?
I had the feeling that nobody got the account, as of yet. I doubt they would have let either party know right away.
This company rivalry has a lot of potential. It's been brewing in the background for three years, so it's nice to see it come into the foreground.
Is it just me or did Trudy became hotter then ever?
She was always a cutie but she looking real good now.
The lyrics to the instrumental version of the song played over the closing with Don on the terrace:
Blue, blue, my world is blue
Blue is my world now I'm without you
Gray, gray, my life is gray
Cold is my heart since you went away
Red, red, my eyes are red
Crying for you alone in my bed
Green, green, my jealous heart
I doubted you and now we're apart
CHORUS:
When we met how the bright sun shone
Then love died, now the rainbow is gone
Black, black, the nights I've known
Longing for you so lost and alone
Gone, gone, the love we knew
Blue is my world now I'm without you.
Repeat CHORUS
Black, black, the nights I've known
Longing for you so lost and alone
Blue, blue, my world is blue
Blue is my world now I'm without you
jon hamm's a pretty talented actor. that bedroom scene with don and megan was pretty intense. decent episode.
btw, has anyone seen that Rectify show yet? It was on before the encore of mad men and I caught the last minute or two, now i'm curious.
It's actually a Sundance Channel production. I didn't have time to watch last night, and wasn't sure if it was a premier or if they are already into the season.
Saw the preview last night and was pretty interested myself, I believe it's the same writers or producers or something as Breaking Bad. Worth a shot, imo.
As for Mad Men, pretty bad ass episode last night; Don is in a dark place..
F yeah!!! Biggest event since the end of season 3.
