Surprised Don did the opposite and turned down some quality widow sex.
Oh snaps...that was Neve Campbell? Interesting start and it was funny seeing Pete try to be Californian...and he thinking that his real estate chick isn't gonna let Don beat it up.
Surprised Don did the opposite and turned down some quality widow sex.
The way he went about it and the darkness of the tone was what made the turn-down really work. Like, we've seen Don turn down sex before but he always relents and gets it later. This was full on denial by Mr. Draper and I liked how it worked.
the lady and i cracked up when he strolled in wearing that sweater like that. Was that Canter's?
Yeah, that was Canter's the sign behind Pete was the old Canter's sign inside.
Austin has still doesn't have a good kosher deli at all, it ing sucks. Plenty of places with great sandwiches, but no latkes for me unless we visit my gf's mom.
Canter's latkes have fallen off a little bit--I normally just get the corned beef there. I'd just go to the Fairfax for Jewish food...though I haven't recently since my ex a few times back was the last Jewish girl I went out with.
You should give Melvin's Deli Comfort a try - it's a food truck but it's off the charts good, imo. Their Reuben is pretttayyyy, pretayyyyyyy good.
I've been there plenty, it's the best. I crave the pastrami reuben once or twice a month and just go saturday right when they open. Have to get at least a 15 mile ride in that day tho
gotcha - this is making me hungry, back to mad men!
Sally went HAM on Don
There are times when Sally comes off as a Betty the twin, but then the writers flash a bit of Don in her. It's pretty awesome; the show is fantastically written.
Man, Don is not having the best of times at the moment. Guess, though, he kind of brought it on himself. Losing the ability to be Don Draper is going to be an interesting stretch of Weiner and Co. writing abilities.
I'm disappointed he accepted the terms. I would have much rather he worked somewhere else as a compe or and annihilated them.
With this being the final "season" dunno if there is time for that to develop
Just getting into it on the NetFlix. Great show.
Marigold, show me around?
Don Draper had a brilliant episode last night even if it were an awkward ménage...Michael Ginsberg won for batty conducting of behavioral mischievousness. Van Gogh for the 20th Century...
good episode
the nipple made me cringe
don is back to being a boss
Yeah I don't get Hamlin taunting the Draper like that, he gets back on his game and leaves the firm he can take clients w/him. Ginsberg arc was fascinating but it would suck if he was gone for good.
A bit awkward yes, but she was smoking hot, imo.
The threesome was about the most predictable thing to happen this season once the new character was introduced, but each participant's actions afterwards were well done.
I can't tell if Don is actually giving PM a choice or just manipulating everyone to what he eventually wants, but the extra vagina seemed to bring his swagger back to the bidness.
So who thinks I'm dead before this series is over?
nobody that saw the last episode
