looks like this wont be back until early 2012. how in the world can the most critically praised show not get a contract. i understand how the wire would struggle to get every season renewed cause of ratings, but this show has them and it makes money. its a good thing i love breaking bad. makes the wait easier

AMC wants them to cut two of the cast to save money, and shove more product placement into it, as well as cutting two minutes per episode to shove more commercials in. I applaud Weiner for balking at this, this show is their moneymaker:

AMC is pissing me off these days. They've been Good TV Central for a couple of years now, but seem determined to it up. First, by delaying Breaking Bad, it missed the window for next year's Emmys, so Bryan Cranston gets screwed out of the chance to win his fourth in a row. Now, they're getting cheap with MM.
