CC, i'd visit Allhambra because it's one of the most beautiful castles in all europe. It is also commemorated in classical music literature for it's beauty. Andres segovia, famous classical guitarist performed in there, and Isaac Albeniz and Tarrega composed music inspired by that place. It's a beautiful landmark and is one of the pillars of free trading and the rise of europe from local tribalism.

2. She has class, and her choice of vacationing within Europe shows that she's a real intellectual. Someone like Cosmic Cowboy would have just gone to Madrid, buy a bullfighter marrionette, insult the locals by asking for a good burrito place, and then head straight to Senor Frogs.

The historical significance is not in dispute. No one ever disputed the historical significance of Alhambra. You keep trying to make it an issue as a straw man to distract from the real issue: your race baiting.

Allhambra visit wouldn't atone for a hit on Iran. That's idiotic. No Muslim would give a about his wife's visit to a landmark alot of atheist, chrisitians, historians, musicians, visit for things that pertain to aesthetic beauty.
