Their hype is identical. That can be true even if they don't have the same skillsets. Same with Tebow. Not surprised you don't get that, seeing as you've struggled to make logical sequences recently.

What? Maybe I'm misremembering the cir stances, but I'm pretty sure I just made the statement that Manziel was unarguably A&M's Young. I meant that in terms of their hype and how their fans are going to blame everyone else when Manziel fails so that they can pretend he's not a bad player. In the context of this thread, I believe that's demonstrated. This thread is all about people not wanting to accept that Vince just wasn't that good, making a ton of lame excuses and calling for their coach's head. spurraider21 is likening this Young homerism to what he thinks (and I think) is going to happen with Manziel. He's not asserting that the two QB's have the same skillsets. I don't see how agreeing with spurraider misrepresents my original statement.I get that. You are misremembering. Out of the people who brought up Young you are the only one that did it to compare the hype surrounding them. I've never disagreed with the hype comparison...I just don't see how there is any correlation between that and Football's success in the NFL compared to Young's.

I was really hoping for some news about how Vince Young finally offed himself.
Sorry bruhnting, just did a quick NFL forum search for him and this is what popped.
Vince is broke and keeps losing the jobs that the longhorns toss him so it might not be long tbh. I don't think he's a bad dude, just not bright. Hopefully Colts daddeh can throw the ol ball with him on the sidelines before that happens.
