Would someone please inform me about the pay service from Kazaa? Its called "KazaaPlus" and it costs $29.95. I want to sign up for the free service, but the free service implies you have to receive ads and so on. The paid KazaaPlus is adfree, faster downloads and so on. Here's the link:

Is the pay service worth it? Sounds like at the very least it'll prevent spyware from being downloaded.

Kazaa Plus is fine.....you don't get loaded down with pop ups and spyware.

Maybe it's changed in the last 3 months or so, but the last time I used WinMX it seemed like I was having to get in a long queue for 95% of the files I downloaded, whereas with KazaaLite the number's more like 50%.
One really bad thing about Kazaa is that there are a lot of RIAA fake mp3s on it since file integrity is checked by hashing only the first 128 KB of the file.
I use K-lite, but my husband uses IRCspy.

bittorent is a different type of downloading tool that you can use for albumns through sites like suprnova.org . i like it a lot.
I put up the $30 bucks for Kazaa Plus about three months ago and it works well. Eventually, I've found every song I've looked for. But yeah, the fake files suck.

The KazaaLite doesn't work, Grande? KazaaLite is way better than Kazaa Plus, and is free. It searches the exact same networks, and offers other services like letting you spoof your IP (so the record companies can't trace your ass), jump to different supernodes, and have the highest download priveleges automatically. Don't pay $30 for that when something better is available for free.
