I loved the show last season, until the final episode. I hope they can keep their thunder from the first 5 shows going this season.
I'm really looking forward to it. I also loved Bored To Death last season so I'm anxious for that too. Rewatched Boardwalk Empire last night and was able to follow it better than last week; I'd love to have a "must see tv night" once again---it's been years for me!
Thinking about giving this show a chance. Need anything possible to kill time for Breaking Bad season 4.
I watched that all in one shot a couple weeks ago On Demand. I thought it was a bit slow to get into, but really liked it.

Of the 4 premiers I was looking forward to this fall (Always Sunny, Boardwalk Empire, Bored to Death, Eastbound), I found it to be the weakest. But Bored came back really strong and did not disappoint at all

So I did finally watch the first episode of Boardwalk Empire. The first set everything up but still had enough going on to be interesting, the second almost seemed like a setup for the third.
Eastbound premier was okay at best, but again it looks like a good setup for what's to come.
Bored to Death seemed like the best premier of all of the shows, they didn't waste much time getting right back into things, but I still have a feeling subsequent shows will be better. The first season started off pretty slow and then became flat out hilarious.
The midget was hilarious in the first episode but overall it was pretty weak. Seems like it can turn into something good though, I just hope he makes it back to the states because the Mexico setting isn't working for me.
Episode was terrible. The only funny thing in it was Janowski yelling about getting a ing break at Starbucks. They really painted themselves in a corner with this Mexico .
i agree. i loved season 1 but episode 1 of season 2 was very lackluster.
chick singing Night Moves in spanish was hilarious, and also kenny calling the dude with long hair the saxophone player from lost boys was also hilarious. you might have been expecting a bit much, but the fighting stuff got thrown to the side already and he'll be back on the mound soon
Yeah, I agree. I was a bit disappointed with the premiere, but it was pretty much a necessary episode with the way last season ended. It'll pick up.
And there were definitely some funny parts too. For one, the midget guy was just plain creepy, but in a hilarious way.

The midget was worth it for me. He really did remind me of Mouse though.
The beginning of the second episode was absolute gold...

Episode 2 was a lot better than the first one.
Yeah, the show needed Janowski back badly. LMAO @ Kenny still shooting him after he saw who it was.
Episode 2 was fricking classic.... Too many classic one liners.

I don't give a what calf tats says, kenny powers in Mexico is great. It would have been lame to see him at his brothers house for another season. Leave the feel good family to that gay modern family show.
