Michonne is one of the baddest chars in the book. She should be awesome on this show.
I still haven't seen that . I seent the commercials and it seems to be about middle to older aged guys drinking alcohol, smoking, and wearing those lame ass 60s suits that thankfully are out of style.Someone will come in here and brag about how better a show Mad Men is..

In the books she removed the arms and lower jaws so they wouldn't bite her, and kept them (her boyfriend and his bestfriend) as deterrent to the other walkers.
I'm pretty sure that's the case in the series, it only makes sense.
The crazy part about this is how walkers are deterred... I guess it's by scent or whatever, smart on her part.
In the graphic novels she has they're arms and faces chopped. They are her husband and friend if I remember correctly. Looked like they had no arms in the scene from the show.
I used to have the exact same viewpoint of Mad Men but sorry, Mad Men >>> Walking Dead, and I really like Walking Dead.

Looking forward to Season 3. From what I've read it takes place at the prison, Rick stops trying to be a nice guy and becomes a bonafide badass, Merle returns, along with the badass black chick Michonne the other new character will be "The Governor" who is supposed to be a likeable but not very nice character, and lots of action.
Now if only they'll kill off Lori season 3 should be great.
On Talking Dead, the host theorized that she realized that her goading Rick earlier and then making up to Shane last week put ideas in both of their heads and directly led to the showdown.
I like the aftershow, but since Comic Book Men came on, it's no longer right after the first WD showing, so I often miss it. They actually showed a pic of the actress that will play Michonne. They had the actress that plays Andrea on and two of the Executive Producers.
"The Governor" is the best villain from the comic book series.
Oh yeah. On Talking Dead, Glenn Mazarra described tonight as the beginning of the Ricktatorship.
I'll have to try an ep one day, seeing as how a lot of people like it. But just not any time soon...
I don't really understand the point of comparing two shows as different as "The Walking Dead" and "Mad Men." Both are well made and engaging, in my opinion, but share almost nothing in common other than episode length and network.
From a purely technical point of view, I'd probably have to give "Mad Men" a slight edge in terms of writing and acting, but that doesn't amount to much. I like/enjoy the shows equally. Folks just get too wrapped up in ranking things.

I've only ever seen her in a small recurring role on "Treme" (that I know of), but she seems like a good actress. I'm excited to see what they do with the character next season, since there are a lot of moments/arcs from the comic books that I assume can't happen.this will be michonne

But anyways back to Walking Dead, what was up with Rick, is he going through some transformation? And I cannot stress enough how much they need to bring in a new Lori next season and act like nothing happened.

Hmm. With what Rick revealed about the virus or whatever it is, I thought the le was about the walkers.
I dug the episode even though they really didn't explain why all those walkers started migrating all of the sudden. Where did that helicopter come from and where did it go????? Seems like it got their attention and they started following it. Oh well, I can't wait until the next season.

I'm pretty sure the helicopter was in the first episode that's when they started following it. I think they also said the zombies will follow each other so they just sort of picked up followers along the way and eventually they made it to the farm after all this time.
