that skinny dumb broad and Carl are killing me though, enough is enough, you can't tell me anyone who has stuck with this show finds anything interesting about those trip characters. Horrible
Carl and Lori. Yes, those two really need to hurry up and die. Every other character is tolerable except those two; I don't care if they're Rick's family, he'll get over it. In fact, I don't think Rick even likes those two heads anymore; ever since Lori is knocked up with Shane's zombie baby and Carl is turning into Damien.....
I actually find Lori more tolerable than Carol. I know she's grieving but Carol's just completely devoid of personality or purpose. Also she apparently can't ing run... not sure how she managed to stumble her way to Daryl's motorcycle.
Started watching Breaking Bad. Love that show. More than WD. Still have to catch Mad Men.

IMO, I can completely ignore the existence of Carol. If she died next episode I might not even notice. Lori is thrown into your face because she's Rick wife, and she's just a terrible character in every aspect.
I can kind of give Carl a pass because a kid living in the middle of Zombie Apocalypse must be a little ed up. But he's still a little jackass.

Yeah Carl is annoying on a very Anakin Skywalker level.
To salvage next season, the show needs new writers and/or the following characters to die: Carol, Lori, Carl, Andrea, and possibly T-Dog. If they decide to keep the same cast, they'll need to do a good job of convincing the audience that these people aren't ing re ed. All it took was Ricks absence for them to run around like headless chickens, playing rodeo with the cars, wasting ammo and gas. There is an exception; Lori is the most egregious piece of on television and can't be salvaged. To recap, she slept with a man mere days after she thought her husband was dead (note: not sympathetic sex, but raw dogging from behind on the ground sex). She, on multiple occasions, fails to look after her kid. She created a rift with Shane for mistakenly believing her husband to be dead, then apologized to the man when tried to rape her. She tells Shane to stay away from her kid and then gets angry when he does. She crashes a car on a lone road, endangering herself and others. She thinks women should be in the kitchen doing womanly duties. She wonders out loud if her son would be better off dead. She assumes everyone should listen to her because of who her husband is. She pits Rick and his best friend against each other, and finally, gets angry with him for killing a man who tried to rape her and would have killed him had he not acted in self defense.

FYI - Lori isn't mad about Rick killing Shane. She's upset that Carl shot him when he was in Zombie mode. As Rick is telling her everything she's not really showing an upset reaction, but when he says "Carl put him down" after telling her that he turned she pretty much freaks out.
She's not a great character but its mostly just because the actress that plays her is fairly terrible. Go back and rewatch that scene and you'll see what I'm talking about, but you'll also see some fairly terrible ing acting from her.

death in June reminded me of two our three reasons to hate Lori that I had forgot. She's horrible, please go away.
Andrea is good though, she has spirit, and actually does stuff that makes you want to keep watching.

I think there is a big difference between being a likable character and being a good character. I can't stand Lori, and would definitely want to smack her in person, but I think she's an interesting character. Especially compared to how much of a whiny nothing she is in the comics.
I also don't think Carl is a horrible character. And think he's far more interesting on the show than in the books.
Both actors suck, though. 'Specially the kid.
Kill ing Carl. So sick of this damn kid. Carol too. Lori is a dumb but if you kill Carl off and give her less responsibilities that could change. Everyone else is fine. T-Dog is pretty pointless but whatever, same with Hershel's other daughter.
Pretty good finale all in all though. I enjoyed it. If only every episode was that interesting.
I'm not really sure how close it's following the book but I'm not a big fan of just killing Shane off. I would have preferred if he just left the group and everyone knew in the back of their head that he was still out there.
So is the guy and his son who saved Rick in season 1 coming back? Carl could use a friend
If they followed the comic book, Shane would've died in the first season.
