yeah. when they showed that zombie looking like he just ate a bucket of KFC along with 5 taco supremes from taco bell, I was so happy.
I think they're doing a poor job with the Michone character. Coming from the view of someone that hasn't read the comics, I don't ing care what happens to her at this point. They're going to have to do a back story episode about her soon because right now, I don't really care if she lives or dies. And that sort of sucks because from what everyone has said, her character is supposed to be really bad ass.
On the other hand, it was because of this thread that I was convinced that Lori was going to live and that Carol was gonna show up having fixed her. I was very pleasantly surprised when they implied that the got eaten. Good for the writers!

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed, some of those scenes are borderline awkward sometimes.
sons I am eagerly looking forward to this next episode.
son so am I. I caught up with this season this past week and I think big is going to go down this episode, eagerly waiting like a champ heeeere
I don't have cable so I gotta wait til one of the faithful nerds around the world uploads it. God bless them.
Rick has gone off the deep end.
The " yeah" line was the funniest thing ever.
the whole blood getting on them and not turning into a walker kinda bothers me. with all that blood on rick's face i'm sure some of that got into his mouth, but it's a tv show.......
they're not 28 days later zombies, their blood won't kill them
Andrea is a .
Pretty weak episode outside the Darryl with Maggie and glen
How the is michonne protected
what changes them to zombies then?
Because she got covered in zombie guts so it disguised her in a way. The zombies didn't smell her so she blended in. This happen to Rick and Glenn in season 1, though once it rained on them and wash the guts away they got noticed.
the blood that apparently doesn't carry this zombie gene. <shrugs> when she disemboweled that one walker.
darryl??
i want to know what was that scene where darryl found carol all about. just seemed weird to me. it looks like he knew she was in there.
All survivors are already infected so when they die they turn.
When a zombie bites a human the infection from the bite kills them, and they die and turn. The reason hershel lives is cause they cut off the area of infection.
Episode was great for buildup.
Andrea is indeed a . She gets off ing men with power or those that yearn for it.
Cant wait to see when Michonne spills the beans to Daryl.
so it's not bloodborne then?
don't think so
From what I've read (and seen from the series), bites cause a fever with meningitis like symptoms (season 1 finale). This fever kills the host then reanimation occurs thereafter.
Couple of weeks back a producer of the show appeared on talking dead and indirectly revealed the pathogen to be viral (he called it a virus). Given that we know that the virus remains in latency (its a tv show but if we want to use basic virology, here it is), upon penetration of a walkers teeth or nails into a human the virus is activated and undergoes it's lytic cycle...since Jenner said it attacks the body like meningitis, I'm assuming the virus follows a mode of transmission similar to commonly known viral pathogens which leads to a meningitis like infection. What activates the latent virus? I'm assuming some sort of chemical in bodily fluid of the walkers.
Okay episode I guess. Glenn should have gunned down that redneck.
Michonne safe because of so much blood on her, they work by smell or thats what it implies in first lot of comics. Glen and Rick I think go out among walkers covered in blood and guts and are fine, must be smell thing
Fair episode. The crazy phone bit was more like tedious phone. Michonne is an interesting character in that she provides a kick ass dimension that is lacking.
I feel like the series is stumbling because the zombies simply aren't that threatening. There needs to more of a balance between the threat of fellow human survivors and the zombie apocalypse.
In addition to the humans adapting to new cir stances, it would be interesting for the zombies to do so as well.
My thoughts exactly.I feel like the series is stumbling because the zombies simply aren't that threatening. There needs to more of a balance between the threat of fellow human survivors and the zombie apocalypse.
I think the idea was that he knew Carol was in there but he thought she had turned, and he was conflicted because he knew if he let her out he'd have to kill her.
