This episode was as bad as when Rick and the Governor sat at a table for an hour.
The episode was alright. Some focus on character which is good. I don't know why people continue to say every episode is . It's quite the opposite actually.
Darn good episode. Finally saw some real acting and real character development out of Daryl instead of standing around mumbling and eating squirrels. His revelation that he did "nothing" before the turn was the best. No "I was a cop" or "worked on Harley's". A wanderer and person lost in life who in some way has found his calling and place in life in a post apocalyptic society.
Agreed. One of the most tedious episodes of the entire series. The music in the bonfire scene sounded like a They Might Be Giants cover band, ffs. Dreck.
Based on my fondness for character development and dialog over heavy plotting, this was the kind of episode I should have loved. An episode like this depends upon great acting and great writing to be successful, however, and sadly this one had neither. Ultimately I really like/appreciate the idea of this episode, nut had major problems with its execution.
meh. it was ok. they should've done the character building in season 2 when they had the time, instead of devoting entire episodes to group bickering, how to pull a fat zombie out of a well, or where's carl.

& they tangle "intimately" with these zombies, but, they never get the zombie's body fluids on their faces, or, hands. Shirts, pants, yes, but, never the face.

Yeah, I've noticed that all the girls are still nicely shaven in the armpit region. Everything else has gone to but at least they can still shave the pits and probably the legs daily.
I don't mind if they do some deeper character development instead or the constant walker head bashing.
Husband thinks they are foreshadowing Daryl's death. Last episode his arrow broke in half when he missed the squirrel. This episode he was laying in a casket.
Yeah so, I started watching and the first season is good, second season I quit about 4 episodes in. Fell off a cliff.
I personally think if you watch them all straight through it's better than waiting a week for the next episode. Season 2 ends really good. There are good episodes now and then. I think this season 4 is very good
