Like this show hasn't been butchered by at least 3 other showrunners already. You have to know when things are a no go.
The Walking Dead is just one of them. But of course the show has built up such massive following from when the show was actually good that they can make 3 other ty spinoffs and those same fans who are in denial would say it is the best thing ever.

Into Season 8 now. Yea, the writing is getting progressively worse. The dialogue is cheesy at times. The plot points are amateurish at times. And they sort of neutered the ferocity of the walkers over time as well. If they were that easy to combat, there never would've been that large-scale epidemic in the first place. I'm basically just watching for the military skirmishes at this point; and even those aren't always well done. Had to laugh when the visual effect of a bomb going off was just the screen going black for six seconds. This show would be getting on my nerves if I was watching week to week; but it's okay enough for a binge.
In a post-apocolyptic world, you don't take the Nazis to a prison camp. But I get it; the producers need to preserve plot points to keep their cash cow going.
