Yeeaarrggghhhhh!!!
Russert, in yesterday's Meet the [De]Press[ed], also asked Dean about his over-the-top comments on House Majority Leader Tom DeLay:
On CNN's "Capital Gang" Saturday, Sen. Ted Kennedy opined that "Howard Dean is doing a first-rate job." Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.
Hey, at least Dean is a fighter. Better that than a copitulator like Hillary. I love how the Right continues to try and spin Dean as some sort of left-wing fringe poltician, but yet the questions that Dean is asking, are exactly the questions we should all be asking.
Really?
And, what questions are those? Seems to me all we've heard from Dean is a bunch of extreme left-wing rhetoric.
, he can't even raise money from the Democratic base...

Yeah, and I'm sure Delay will be exonerated.
Nice non-answer Dan. I thought you said he raised some good questions...let's hear 'em.
Did you even bother to read the transcript from yesterday's interview?
Anyone who is interested can see the rest of Russert-Dean interview hereWe have an agenda that calls for pension reform, it calls for leaving Social Security alone, except for the tweaks that may be needed to fix it. It calls for real jobs. It calls for closing the deficit. The last president--the only president in the last 35 years to balance the budget was Bill Clinton, a Democrat. You can't trust Republicans with your money. The country is at a crossroads. Are we going to be ethical in government? Are we going to stand up for fiscal responsibility? Are we going to stand up for freedom and personal responsibility?
The president keeps talking about freedom for Iraqis. What about the freedom for Americans to decide their most personal dilemmas in that family? Speaking of Tom DeLay, 14 judges made decisions in the Terri Schiavo case to allow that family to work out their problems through the court system. Tom DeLay didn't like it. He talks about now impeaching judges and removing them if they disagree. We need to retain American democracy. That means everybody has to be part of that American democracy, and, yes, that even includes Democrats and Independents who may not agree with the president.
Yep, I did. And, the three questions contained in your excerpt are largely partisan rhetoric that can be interchangebly asked by either side...
Isn't Dean head of the party that won't let me decide what to do with my own earnings by opposing private pension accounts?
It looks like its going to the Republican legislature that is going to kill one of Bush's few good ideas, so the answer to your question is... maybe.Isn't Dean head of the party that won't let me decide what to do with my own earnings by opposing private pension accounts?
gwb and the gop are as guilty as anyone else when it comes to extending the era of big government so excuse me while i could give a less about the label circlejerk above
So, you defend Dean's statement on Meet the Press? Or, are you just trying to change the subject?
Was referring the VK's post.
NO, I disagree with Howard Dean's comments because Tom DeLay has not been convicted of any wrong doing. Those comments are out of line and someone needs to pull Howard aside and tell him to get stifle the rhetoric.
It seems to be the character of the left these days...
I hope it is only the radical left. It sure doesn't represent true democrats.
actually i meant my comment for the other thread in re bernie sander's socialism but hey, i guess it works in this thread too
