I saw no child being accosted. I see a parent holding a 3 year old who is having a tantrum. The reporter clearly stated that the kid set off the metal detector not once, but TWICE. They have to pat her down.
Kids aren't capable of holding something dangerous?
That little girl wasn't having anything more than a monster-sized temper tantrum. The security lady wasn't doing anything inappropriate or harmful to her ... just trying to get through it as quickly as she could. Her dad even admitted that she had been tired and cranky and had to give up her toy to put through the scanner. That's what happens.
How many 3-year old Euro-American bombers have been stopped?

TSA will be demanding body cavity searches of kids next.
