This is one of those games where it looks like the Spurs are going to struggle from the instant the game begins, and Pop is just taking home-run risks by putting a bunch of 3-point shooters on the floor and hoping they get hot..hopefully they get hot, obviously..

As we established last year, the Blair-Bonner frontcourt is atrocious..thankfully, we haven't seen it much this year, but obviously Pop cuts it out tonight..it's never going to work, they are 2 of the worst defensive players in the NBA..

Playing a lineup that features Parker-Jefferson-Neal-Blair-Bonner isn't going to work on D..adding Hill and replacing one of them doesn't change anything..taking RJ out and putting in Manu or another small player doesn't work..

Duncan has gotten enough rest this year, and the plan going forward will be more rest..for a game like tonight, it would be nice if Duncan would play more minutes, it's not as if it would hurt the long-term plan..he was dominating the game on both ends in the 1st quarter, he's the only consistent defender on the entire team..

Hopefully Duncan is in the game soon..
