At the end of the day, it's the defense...
Well, well.. rebound in the next game. Go Spurs Go
At the end of the day, it's the defense...
Looked like he got hit. We wouldnt have even been in the game if Manu didn't step it up.
No - he wasn't. He ran to the bottom of the basket next to Duncan and Big Baby. Either he or Duncan stays out and one is open on the wring or under the basket.
why didn't tim throw the ball in to manu like he did in denver...
two losses in a row - for the 1st time this season. I'm depressed - not just because we lost last night and tonight, but because the Spurs are looking like crap.
Spurs are the worst team ever. Manu needs to be traded. He is done.
No . Just give Manu the ball and get the out of the way. Run a screen if TP has the ball, but Manu's much better just isolating.![]()
This is so frustrating man we're not ven at 30 wins![]()
yep. tonight they sucked. that's the Spurs for you!
Well, at least we played defense in this game. Nothing big to whine about after this loss. Move on to the next game and hopefully Gino will get his groove back with the break
Well, the Spurs wouldn't really have deserved a win tonight. Letting the opponent shoot over 60% should get you a loss on most nights.
With defense like that...we might luck into a few more...
yep that was my first comment
Spoken like a true Spurs fan! You really fit in here!
Nothing pisses me off, as a Spurs fan, more than when we have a game-dependent play, and we don't even take a shot that clangs off the basketball rim.
I mean what the ? 7.4 seconds left.....that's just inexcusable, at any level of play, even if the Spurs were playing the best defensive team in the NBA. It's inexcusable. Manu was stupid for taking that low-percentage shot...but more importantly the coach calling the play is ing stupid.
Our spacing has been off since tipoff of the Knicks game....why the would we expect great execution for a game-winning shot?
We should have ran something very simple and very close to the rim, just to play the ing odds.
Bad bad bad bad coaching decision.
I'd rather Hill or Neal have attempted a floater than Manu attempt a 3 off a pick in roll in that position.
bad bad bad, we coulda stolen this one.
Oh well.
If we lose to the Pacers, I take a sabbatical.
That was a terrible play combined with excellent Boston defense. All credit goes to them.
They had good defensive spurts though. Its going to take time but there's a foundation to build around.
I promise you Pop is happy they lost and didn't pull out another fluke win.
I told you that you guys would start losing once your schedule got harder, its been a joke until recently.
Beat with With the zebras helping you and with no kg.... Can't beat Boston Orlando Miami or Dallas (when healthy, with or without caron)
who are you kidding? haven't you watched the last 2 games? Spurs are done. Stick a fork in them.
Late games when Shaq fouls out are when we lose leads, because we have Jermaine O'Neal as our backup center now. (That Turkish rookie is hurt.) And Doc doesn't trust Jermaine to do anything but pull down rebounds.
Worth a shot.. but good lesson for us though, our defense was ing terrible tonight.
Yes - he was.
Lakers fans ing vultures.
