I can excuse Tim because he has his hands full with Bogut... but Tony has been listless and Jennings is not playing. RJ also a ghost. Bonner in full playoff mode.

Spurs are doing a good job at taking care of the ball. The ball movement is ok, but it is not really leading to a lot of great shots. Spurs have gotten their fair share of good looks, but then other times it is very stagnant.

If they clean up the defensive rebounding they should be fine. Spurs need to get out and run a little more as well. Doubling Bogut might not be a bad idea. Make someone else beat you.

    Neal > Hill

There, I said it. I rather have Gary playing the SG minutes George is getting.

At least the Mavs are trailing the Pacers as well. I'm surprised Nowitzki is still out ...

This is one of those games where Timmy needs some help defense. Dice is the only player capable of providing this, but he is needed to spell Timmy. Blair and Bonner flat out stink and are pulling the team down defensively. I just don't get Pop. Splitter should get minutes if for no other reason than those in front of him are loafing. Also, it is a back to back and the energy he could bring alone will help. Alas, Pop will only play him when we are down 20 and everybody will say how bad Splitter is because he won't be able to lead us back to victory.

We're not going to play with TD/Dice because they play Bogut/Illasova... the latter being a 3 point shooter pretty much

the lineup against Indiana in the 4th was an adjustment which turned the game around ... although the Pacers are inferior

Hopefully Manu keeps up his agressiveness to the rim and that should open up his 3 pt shooting.

If you think about it, we're healthy and we're mostly young guys... there's no reason for a drop in production like this... we really need to want it more and get the effort out there.

The lack of energy is unreal. Back to back or not, this is unacceptable.

Blair has one rebound in nine minutes, provides no defense, is an afterthought offensively and hasn't provided an ounce of energy. If he's not going to rebound and provide energy, then he has no business playing.

Jefferson needs to take the damn ball to the basket. They didn't bring him here to reincarnate Bowen offensively. He's supposed to be a multi-faceted scorer.

Duncan needs to be more physical with Bogut. Yes, he's outsized and probably tired, but this is ridiculous. Bogut is a very good player, but he's not an all world player.

Ginobili should have played more. Should have came back after that timeout. Instead, there was no stoppage, he didn't get back in and the deficit grew.

Parker needs to be in attack mode. I don't want excuses, at this point it's been a bunch of days, he should be feeling, if not 100%, at least better.

.....and the Lakers aren't losing any lately. We have to keep winning.
but only the win against the Knicks was a quality win ... when will the Lakers finally face some tough opponents? their schedule sucks

Our schedule, when factoring in injuries, has probably been easier.

Have y'all not learned anything so far this season? This team is often (not always) a different beast in the second half of games. It generally either finds rhythm offensively (if it has been lacking), and if not that, up ramps the D. Whether they will have the energy tonight given that it is a b2b is a fair question, but I bet this team will look different in the second half.

i'll chalk that up to flukey bs v. an inferior team. I just hope splitter gets some burn when bonner and blair aren't doing much out there.

why bonner gets guaranteed minutes when he's bricking shot after shot still puzzles me.
