Kobe is a phenomenal player that was unfortunate to play during the Shaq/Duncan/Lebron eras. The fact that he rode Shaq for 3 ships will always cast a shade on his legacy.
It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. He's not the first player to be overshadowed by truly dominant stars. I doubt he'll be the last.
