Overall, I think Leo has great acting chops.
However, this movie seemed somewhat over acted by most involved. I still enjoyed it though.
I agree with the Missus,,,I sat thru it & suffered mightily. It has that Tarantino chop to it. And I am worn out of that.

The Interview - 7
Inside Llewyn Davis - 8
Let's Be Cops - 2.5
Anybody ever see "The Grey?" And if so, can you give a number rating. I'd appreciate it.
2/10 things only get worse as the movie progresses, the CGI is awful, there are no characters to root for.

Thanks, I was going to spend money.
Dont. By the time you get to the end of this thing, you feel like the director owes you some closure since you begrudgingly made it to the end. But no, instead you're left pantsed in front of the classroom with everyone laughing at you.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but, it kind of turns me on, Ooze.
Boyhood - 5/10 . How the F did this movie get so high rated. There is literally nothing special...
Anybody seen "American Sniper" ?? Thinking bout checking it out.....
It's incredible.
Yeah it's good. Eastwood makes good .
Link
99% of users liked it....averaged 4.9/5.0 stars. Good ...
Take those damn ratings FWIW IMHO. The Interview was like a 9.5 when it first dropped. What I have noticed from experience though is if IMDB rates a movie at a 7.0 or better, I'm more than likely gonna agree that the movie is good.
Wolf Of Wall Street is a good movie.
Last week saw:
Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes - 7.5/10
The Equalizer - 8/10
Maybe they got high ratings because I haven't rented a good movie in a while.
It's on Netflix iirc
But i don't recommend spending time. The payoff you wait for never arrives

Whiplash - 9/10 would drum again
Birdman 8/10
Truly Keaton's comeback.
More like these.
John Wick 7/10
Good old Keanu Reeve made himself a watchable movie in years.
Also, Eva Longoria was one of the producers. Not bad old girl.
Selma 8/10 - Not going to replicate the white guilt as much as 12 Years a Slave did last year and turn that into a Best Picture win, but it is a good movie. The inaccuracies about the role the LBJ admin played aside, I would recommend it to those who like dramatization of historic points of life being portrayed on the silver screen.
The Babadoock - scaariest movie in a ing while it, one of the scariest movies ever. Even the Exorcist director said it's the scariest movie he's ever seen...9/10
oh btw you can order the actual babadook book. just ordered mine. can't wait to read it to my kid
http://thebabadook.com/#preorder
Is that out or did you stream?
That movie was the . In particular, the scene where the mom ing glides across the room toward the kid is one of the eeriest damn things I've seen.
I'd give it an 8 though, solely based on the needlessly vague ending.
