I've not read the book so I cant say right there but the original source is always best, imo.

Still, this movie is worth a watch at the very least.

Get Out - I was never really followed the works of Key and Peele, and I was skeptical of Get Out when I saw the trailer. This movie is ing good, though. It knows how to build tension, unlike most horror movies these days. It has an overall feeling of discomfort, dread and mystery, like The Shining. Would recommend.

The Wolverine (Extended Version) - I have never seen this movie before. I saw Logan before I saw this. The extended version (I can't speak for the theatrical cut) is good. Maybe the 6.7 rating on IMDB would have been higher if this version of the movie was released instead of the other one. This movie is basically Logan-lite. Three " s" are dropped and there is some blood in the action scenes. The thing is, anybody who has seen The Wolverine and Logan knows that the latter is far more brutal and uncompromising. The opening scene of Logan alone is gorier than anything in The Wolverine. I would recommend it to Wolverine fans. I just wish that Silver Samurai wasn't a mech, and that Viper had more to do.

Meh, 7/10. The setting and car chase scenes were great. The plot moved way too slow, could have cut out at least 30 minutes

I was about to bring this up. I saw The Illusionist first and it was better than expected. Then saw the Prestige and it wasn't as good as I hoped. Still a good movie but I preferred the Illusionist. That being said, I haven't rewatched either.

Yeah...that's fair. But I didn't come away feeling cheated in The Illusionist as to the ending. Maybe I need to watch them again.

i HATED when the characters starting singing along, i was like WTF?
i hated the aimee lee or whatever songs they used too. those songs sucked.

Rewatching some of the Friday the 13th movies.

Freddy Vs. Jason-2.5/5- Horrid acting but the last half an hour sort of saves it from being a complete train wreck.

Jason X-2.5/5-The movie almost sort of worked in an odd way but the cyborg chick was completely over the top which is hard to do in a sci-fi horror film set way in the future.

Friday the 3th Part IV- 3/5 Still probably the best of the series which isn't saying much.

Friday the 3th Part III- 3/5- Jason gets his mask and machete but that's about really all that is memorable about it.
