blindspotting gets a solid 7 outta 10.
I didn't know anything about Bo Burnham going in and I didn't see the trailer. I thought it was fantastically real and one of the most honest, non-Hollywoodized, portrayals of youth ever made.
Moreso than even Mean Girls? Or Bill and Ted?
Other than Bill and Ted, obviously.
Mean Girls was more satirical.
"Zimna Wojna" [Cold War]
9/10. One of the finest films I have watched. You will fall in love with Joanna Kulig. Saw this in a Warsaw movie theater. Sidenote: people pick up after themselves and throw away their own trash in Poland.
Ant Man & the Wasp. 7/10
Good film, enjoyed the first one better.
The Lord of the Rings: A fellowship of the Ring extended edition with audio commentary on with Peter Jackson.
I leanerd a few new things about this movie. Cool
The Dark Valley

Really good. German with English subs, but shot really well and has a stellar cast.
Yep. Rare good western.
Saw it a few years ago and thought it was really well done.
Enemy 8/10
Freaky and confusing movie with one of the wierdest, out of nowhere scary endings I have seen in quite some time.
Do entary about getting rid of your stuff and gaining financial freedom and space in your life
Project 333™ is the minimalist fashion challenge that invites you to dress with 33 items or less for 3 months.
I still remember that one time that Sheryl Crow wanted everyone to use one sheet of toilet paper because...save a life!
This minimalistic crap is make believe. This is like religion. Telling you what to say, wear, eat, do etc.
Truth Or Dare 5.5/10
Probably getting much higher marks from its target audience though.
Glad you posted this. Watched last night and liked it.
Yeah, Jake Gyllenhaal is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. He's been on a streak since Source Code.
blackkklansman. one of lee's best in quite some time but a far cry from "Do the Right Thing".
I think I've always liked his movies. The first thing I saw him in was October Sky which was very good. Just looking at IMDB...
I'd say that run started with Jarhead
Jarhead
Zodiac
Rendition
Brothers
Source Code
End of Watch
Prisoners
Enemy
Nightcrawler
Southpaw
That's the latest I've seen. I might need to check out some of the most recent.
Searching: 8/10
A lot better than I thought it would be, considering what I felt would be a gimmicky concept. Still kind of is, but the mystery is compelling enough to drive it.
Mission Impossible Fallout. 8/10.
Good flick. Lots of well done action sequences. A fun couple of hours.
^ I considered those last 2 films but have decided on seeing in a few hours
Lol yeah the ending was a huge w..t..f
Every review, every person I've talked to thought this movie was the best one.
I thought the action scenes were awesome but the whole movie I kept thinking the bad guy was a step ahead of Ethan and i was waiting for the surprise reveal that he was really in charge of the CIA or something. Underwhelming ending.
Good popcorn flick, nothing really memorable tho, imo.
Super Alpha Male film. Whoa didn't know Hollywood was still capable of such glory.
True story
Having recently re-watched The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford I'll say that it's gotta be one of the most underrated movies of all time, and one of the best I've ever seen tbh. Fantastic score. Stunning cinematography. Great acting all around (arguably the best of both Pitt and Casey Affleck's careers). Absolute masterpiece. And imho better than No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood which came out in the same year tbh
Agreed. My 14 year old was sitting next to me predicting the next sequence prior to it unfolding, which indicates it was likely a plot twist or two from being great. It didn’t disappoint, though, like so many action movies do these days. It kept me entertained throughout.
