Just saw “US”. I’m not sure what I think about it at the moment. I mean, it’s really good, but not sure how to process why I liked it yet.

Planning on going and seeing it tomorrow, kinda heard it was really good but different.

Aquaman-3.5/5- Definitely Entertaining, if not a little cliche, still miles ahead of the other DCEU trash that i've seen. Momoa was good and I liked Heard- at least as eye candy. Some good action sequences too but the movie couldn't figure out if it wanted to be light-hearted or dark- just like the most recent Power Rangers movie. Liked Black Manta but the Ocean Master felt like a cliche comic book villain.

Annihilation-3/5- A rather meh of a movie up until the very end, probably won't watch again but i've seen worse.

Dragged Across Concrete - longest Grand Theft Auto mission ever. It probably didn't need to be over 150 minutes long, but it was interesting. Anybody who thinks this is "problematic" needs to grow some thicker skin.

[B]Us-4/5[/B-] pretty damn good but takes forever to get started. Pretty damn entertaining but controversial ending but I liked it. Probably better than Get Out.

Both great tbh. Black male directed,black lead and box office hits. Must really hurt you. Quite a few white people in the audience as many white as black tbh.

You can either read something into it on a deep level and give it a 9/10 or you can take it at face value and give it a 1/10.

This movie is not unwatchable but it's not that good either. The explanation they gave for the clones made no sense.

So the government did an experiment, cloned people and just abandoned them because they didnt have a "soul?"

That's laughable that they would just leave them there. Movie was also too long for its own good.

Fairly standard high school / coming of age comedy on the surface but without many of the cliches that make those movies so predictable. Also hilarious.
