I liked it, but very sure it's not for everyone. After the movie ended people in the row in front of me asked us if we understood it lol. They looked very lost and I didn't even think it was that difficult to understand. Tom Hanks of course was very good. Impressive film, it shouldn't flop as it appears it will.

what an excellent frickin' movie. yeah, the style it was shot in isn't the most original but the acting and inspiration from it blew me away. i never thought of daines as that much of an actress but she really impressed me in this one. a truly inspiring person

The Tall Man 6.8/10 Had some interesting moments and looking at Jessica Biels face for an hour an a half wasn't a chore at all.

That's My Boy 5/10 The first 20-30 minutes was horrible-I was about to give up and turn it off- and then they went on the bachelor party and did the bit with Vanilla Ice & Todd Bridges and I lmao.

Peace, Love & Misunderstanding 6.9/10 Chick flick that had some moments and some hippie lifestyle & scenery bits.

The Five Year Engagement 7.7/10 Formulaic jew humor with a couple of lol moments- but there are worse ways to spend your time than looking at the city of San Francisco and Emily Blunt at the same time.

Argo - 8/10. Solid, solid film... but not spectacular

Cloud Atlas - 8/10. Ambitious; I wish more films took chances like this one. Was able to follow all the multiple threads, but found I really didn't get the chance to really identify with any of the characters since there was so much less time spent with a lot of them given the number of stories they were telling. Still, easily better than 85% of the that gets put out these days.

If you like your Peter Parker as an emo-cutter who cannot articulate one coherent thought but still can solve a man's lifelong work in under 4 minutes and you dont think Spiderman's origins have ever been properly depicted and need 3/4 of a 2 hour movie to do it, then this film is for you.

Don't wanna give away anything - but I thought the ending was pretty realistic and showed a little bit of the price everyone pays for their choices.

Yeah it seem pretty realistic to me as well.

That's not why I didn't enjoy the end.

    SPOILER below!!

It had to do with the fact Michael Pena's character died and in the gruesome way he did. Kind of took the enjoyment out of the movie for me.

Kinda drove home the whole point for me. It is not a safe and neat chioice of a career and on the flipside it kinda goes the same way for the people that choose the opposite side of the law.

Could have been a little higher if it wasn't for Shia Labouf. That guy always manages to make any movie sort of akward. No idea how he keeps getting roles in movies like these.

Anyhow, Guy Pierce onwed this movie.
