Those movies aren't meant to be great or collection worthy. Its just a flick you just see because its on or to kill time.

In the first movie, Arnold only made a cameo because he was involved in politics and couldn't commit to the full shooting of the movie.

He's in the second one as is Bruce Willis as participants.
    I'll watch #2 when I get a Round Tuit.

The Words. 4/10. Bradley Cooper and Dennis Quaid were pretty lame in their roles...the movie had potential. Irons was great though, as always.

    Lincoln - 7.5/10

    Django Unchained - 8/10

    Both very long.
    Lincoln 7/10

An ok movie but very long and boring factor is high.
I know it's all a matter of personal taste, but Lincoln a 7 or 7.5 out of 10? I just don't get that at all. At least an 8.5, if not a 9.

The lack of action was the main reason why I didn't give it a more fruitious higher rating.

It was not what I expected at all.

the acting was most definitely there, the big fights however were not.

Matthew Mcconaughey was great in the movie but the story was very over the top and just wow in your face with the graphic nudity and weird ass like the implied incest between Chris and Dottie. The ending was somewhat of a letdown and extremely sloppy. And I was a little annoyed by the fact that I was suppose to believe that New Orleans was Dallas when in fact they're very differently geographically. And some very good advice, do not watch this movie with mixed company especially your mom, grandma, sister, or any other female or human that is easily offended.

I thought Lincoln was going to be more about his body of work and life story compared to just the slavery issue. The movie should have been led "13th Amendment" because that's all it was about. Acting was great to no surprise but I overall I was pretty disappointed in it.

    Skyfall 7/10

The first hour of the movie was great, after that it began to fall apart. Danny boy and Javier did their thing as always.

I think the high point was Javier's introduction, which had to be over an hour into the movie. The climax was head scratching.

    5/10

I know that the big part of these movies is trying to figure out how all the characters are intertwined, but who ends up with Josh Duhamel at the end ruined any serendipity for me.

, and here I thought that the final scene would be a shootout between Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee at Appomattox Courthouse.

I'm definitely not going to see this piece of now.

LOL like you expected the movie to be all about whether to pass an amendment or not.

also I'm not telling you or anybody else to not see it .

Matthew McConaughey was very good, but IMO the real star was Thomas Haden Church, who delivered the dark comedy goods. Kind of a sideways glance of a film, enjoyed the quirks but forgettable.
    6/10

    The Grifters - 1990
Missed this the first time around, but I recall dimly that it scored high marks in some quarters. I found it tedious, flat and uninteresting. Annette Bening is luscious, however.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Adventure 6.0/10.0

Way too much extraneous filler inserted to make a movie about 1/3rd of a book which was half as long as any of the three LoTR novels. Glorious score and good FX but suffers in comparison to any of the LoTR flicks.

just watch rourini kenshin, dunno if its true to the manga

but the live action was okay....not fond of japanese movies though compared to what they produced in the good old days b4 the 90s, especially when it comes to samurai/ninja type movies

even there sci-fi manga to live action movies sucks monkey compared to hollywood sci-fi movies where the props and has been put more detail into it
